BURBANK, CA (March 2, 2007) SOAPnet has picked up I Wanna Be a Soap Star for its fourth season, announced Deborah Blackwell, General Manager of SOAPnet. For the first time, America will have a voice in selecting the winner before the series' first-ever live season finale. The "wannabe" standout who makes the cut will head off to the fictional town of Salem and join the Bradys and the Hortons on NBC's Days of our Lives which is a Corday Production in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Production on the series is scheduled to begin in May, and casting for the fourth season's 10 episodes will take place in Miami on March 17, in New York on March 24 and in Los Angeles on March 31. The show is slated to begin airing in August. Host Cameron Mathison of ABC's "All My Children" returns for the fourth installment of the series.
