Casting News!
Heather Tom, formerly Victoria Newman of The Young and the Restless, is coming to The Bold and the Beautiful as Katie Logan. Look for Storm, Brooke and Donna's baby sis to make her debut next month (Aug. 2007). Insiders say that she has inked a 6-month contract, but hopefully, everyone involved will decide to make it long term.
Real-life husband and wife Justin Bruening and Alexa Havins will vacate their roles, Jamie and Babe, when their contracts are up with All My Children. No word yet on whether either of the roles will be recast. Also leaving Pine Valley is Kelli Giddish, who plays Di.
Returning to The Young and the Restless for the Aug. 17 episode will be Billy Warlock, who plays Ben, Jack's former campaign manager.
On Passions, John Reilly will appear once more as the evil Alistair Crane on Aug. 20.
And finally, Hunt Block (ex-Craig, As the World Turns) is coming back to daytime in the form of an FBI agent on One Life to Live. His character has yet to be named, and we don't know exactly what part he will play in the lives of the Llanview folk. But, yay! Hunt is back!

Hey all you One Life to Live fans: Don't forget, this week and next there will be plenty of excitement. In celebration of the show's 10,000th episode, there will be mention of the number 10,000 in every show between July 30 and Aug. 10, as well as temporary homecoming of many fan-favorite characters.
James DePaiva (Max Holden), Nathan Fillion (Joey Buchanan), Dan Gauthier (Kevin Buchanan), John Loprieno (Cord Roberts) and Tonja Walker (Alex Olanov) all will be reprising their roles as they come back to Llanview to celebrate the life of patriarch Asa Buchanan (Phil Carey), who was killed off earlier this year. As many of you know, contract talks failed to resolve the differences between what the show wanted from Carey and what Carey wanted from the show. OLTL honchos wanted the character of Asa to be downgraded to recurring and Carey wanted to remain a contract player. The show refused, so Carey left. His last appearance was on April 26, 2007.
OLTL will officially hit the 10,000 mark on Friday, Aug. 17.
