Catch Thaao Penghlis in The Mirror

Hollywood, CA -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (BSEG) is proud to announce that its new thriller, The Mirror, will be making its world premiere at this year's prestigious Hollywood Film Festival in Hollywood, California. The Mirror, which was written and directed by BSEG's President of Production Stephen Eckelberry, stars Kelly Le Brock (Weird Science, The Woman in Red), Thaao Penghlis (Days of Our Lives, Mission: Impossible) and Erin Cahill.

The film will be screening in the prime slot of 7:00 pm Friday, October 19th at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood, one of the premiere venues in the country. Tickets to the screening go on sale beginning Wednesday, October 10th through the theater's Web site, http://www.arclightcinemas.com/. BSEG will be hosting an afterparty, to which screening attendees will be invited. The party will be sponsored by Patron Tequila.

GL Is a Family Affair!

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 16, Olivia Dicopoulos, daughter of Frank Dicopoulos ("Frank Cooper," Guiding Light) will be joining the cast of GL. She will be playing the role of Matt and Vanessa's daughter, Maureen Reardon. The 10-year-old actress will play a character who, when most recently seen on camera, was an infant. Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome strikes again!

Returning to Springfield in early November is Daniel Cosgrove, reprising his role of Bill Lewis, son of Vanessa and Billy. According to the show, Bill comes back "a changed man." Hmmm ... I am eager to see what that means, almost as much as I am eager to see the handsome Cosgrove on the small screen again!

The Devil Made Her Do It

Just in time for Halloween, SOAPnet is rerunning three key episodes of the camptastic Marlena Possessed storyline. If you weren't watching "Days of Our Lives" when they first aired in 1995, then tune in to SOAPnet on Oct. 28th. The Marlena possession story was before James E. Reilly wrote the supernatural soap "Passions," and diehard "Days" fans either loved or hated what he did to Marlena. Tune in and decide for yourself.

Cable Star Guests on "Y&R"

"The Young and the Restless" has a big story coming up next week. (You've probably already started seeing the ads for it.) To make the action more authentic, the soap has hired Robert Gossett to manage the scene of the disaster on Oct. 23, 24, 25, and 26th. Who better than "The Closer's" Commander Taylor? Gossett stars in the cable network hit show "The Closer" with Kyra Sedgwick (Brenda Leigh Johnson), which airs during summers on TNT. If you haven't seen it, check it out next year or pick it up on DVD -- it's worth it. Gossett also happens to be the cousin of Oscar winner Louis Gossett, Jr.

On the Oct. 25th episode of "Y&R," Victoria Recano, a correspondent on the syndicated entertainment newsmagazine "The Insider," will play a reporter.
