The Devil Made Her Do It

Just in time for Halloween, SOAPnet is rerunning three key episodes of the camptastic Marlena Possessed storyline. If you weren't watching "Days of Our Lives" when they first aired in 1995, then tune in to SOAPnet on Oct. 28th. The Marlena possession story was before James E. Reilly wrote the supernatural soap "Passions," and diehard "Days" fans either loved or hated what he did to Marlena. Tune in and decide for yourself.

Other marathons for the month of October and early November (thank you, SOAPnet!) include:

· Sunday Oct. 14th at 10 a.m. COME RAIN OR COME SHINE: FROM GREY’S ANATOMY TO PRIVATE PRACTICE
· Sunday Oct. 14th from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. GENERAL HOSPITAL: BRENDA, BRENDA, BRENDA
· Sunday Oct. 21st at 10 a.m. DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES: SECRETS AND LIES
· Sunday Oct. 21st from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. GENERAL HOSPITAL: CHASIN’ JASON
· (As mentioned above): Sunday Oct. 28th 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT: MARLENA’S POSSESSION Halloween Marathon

· Sunday Nov. 4th from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. GENERAL HOSPITAL: PORT CHARLES HOTEL FIRE marathon

I loved Marlenas possession. I dont usually like possession stories -Exorcist was crap - but Marlenas possession and Salem Stalker were the best soap storylines ever! Great silly fun.

Now they should sent Halloween 2003 episodes too in Soapnet. I mean the Stalker, the supernatural, Celestes wonderfully melodramatic dialogue ("Evil has here to stay", "Dark, tortured soul with thirst of blood") and sexy, cute Mimi - the prettiest woman in the show ever - trying to save his sympathetic-and-sexy fruitcake boyfriend Rex (my favourite psycho in soaps ever). "Dont fight back, Rex! Shawn just tries to help you! "Help you to the prison!" "Dont hurt him, Shawn!" Priceless.
