Pelphrey returns the week of Jan. 21st to exact some deserved revenge after his beloved Tammy Winslow (pictured above) was killed last year, but he has found a way to live on through the love of his daughter Sarah. Jonathan returns to Springfield as friends, family and enemies memoralize Sarah.

It's Confirmed: Tom Pelphrey Is Back ...

... if only for a little while. Fan favorite Tom Pelphrey, who plays Jonathan on Guiding Light, will be back for a three-episode story arc. His airdates are scheduled for July 31 through Aug. 2. I won't say why he's back, but he will get to see his mom, Reva (Kim Zimmer).

His return will coincide with the release of the book Guiding Light: Jonathan's Story, which chronicles what Jonathan and baby Sarah have been doing since they left Springfield.

My hope is that this return whets Tom's appetite to come back for more romance, danger and intrigue on GL. Fingers crossed!
