Melody Thomas Scott Will Stay in Genoa City

In an exclusive interview with TV Guide's Michael Logan, Melody Thomas Scott has revealed that she and TPTB at The Young and the Restless have come to a contract agreement. However, the writers had already written Nikki off the show, so it will be interesting to see how she is written back in.

She teases: "I really have to hand it to the writers. Nobody knew how this [contract situation] was going to end so they very cleverly figured out a way to get me off the show. I never say stuff like this, but I have been so knocked out, so impressed with the writing of the episodes that air the first week of August.
